BMO Bank of Montreal 455 West Georgia Street Central Vancouver

I went in with appointment to open personal bank and a manager called Romina assisted me . Omg the best experience I ever had . Smooth , fast and informative . She made sure I understand about bonus promotion BMO gives to personal banking she even went through them one by one . Focused and professional. Honestly this was my best banking experience. Thank you BMO and thank you Romina . Wish all banks were operating like this branch

First about 6 month back he took our file and always asked for documents in pieces . He never replied in time and went on delaying for months our approval for the mortgage. But we were patiently waiting and cooperating with him. In the end he said he needed my NOA for 2024, which the CRA had not finalized at that time. I asked him why you had started my file when I told you that I have not received it yet NOA from CRA and you are wasting my time and underwriter's time.? He said on the phone that I was thinking you will get by the time. It got delayed for 3 months. Then my NOA of 2024 came and he said yes, I will get it done soon. I was calling him and texting him for the last 3 weeks and he had not replied. Yesterday, he called me and said that he was busy constructing a house that he is having side business. So, please send the bank statement of rent receipt and it will be done in a couple days. Then I wrote to him yesterday about how unprofessional he had handled my application and

There was a minor issue at the ATM, so I had to visit a branch for assistance. Since I’m new to Canada, my English wasn’t very good, but thanks to the help of a staff member named Antaseth (sorry if the spelling is incorrect), I was able to resolve the issue. I really appreciate their support.

This BMO branch lost my father’s Power of Attorney, also entered his name incorrectly to open his account even though he provided his passport at branch, and is now refusing to fix their own mistakes unless he flies from overseas to Canada in person. If this wasn’t intentional, BMO should be able to explain how they lost legal documents and misrecorded his identity. Until they do, it looks like deliberate obstruction of access to my father’s funds. This is unacceptable for a major Canadian bank.
