Barclays Bank BECO 60 Kingston Street

I had issues with opening an account online. However after visiting the branch, Stephanie took the time to help me and explain what had went wrong. She assisted me with opening an account on the spot and was very helpful. What was originally a stressful experience online, turned into be a very pleasant experience in branch. Thanks Stephanie and team!

Bernadette was incredibly friendly and helpful when it came to my queries - I didn't have an appointment however I was seen promptly as soon as someone was available.

This is the third time in 6 months I have tried to open an account with Barclays and was given the wrong information by a customer service agent even after confirming multiple times. When I had a previous account with them when I lived in Birmingham, I never had any issues. This experience has left me unwilling to work with Barclays in the future. I don't know where the discrepancies are but there seems to be a disconnect between representatives in the bank and customer service agents. Do yourself a favor, save your time and effort, and bank somewhere else.

I recently visited Barclays Bank regarding a business account issue, but the experience was disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested in helping, and we were met with rude and sarcastic responses. One of the staff members, Stella, interacted with us in a way that felt dismissive, as though our presence was an inconvenience. This experience has left us questioning whether we want to continue banking with Barclays.

Ground floor atm out of order. Advised to use another atm on first floor outside the building in the rain. And as expected with every atm, i deposited my cash and the atm eats £20. All these atm's are dodgy. Spoke to a member of staff and was advised they'll check it tonight and let me know tomorrow. Lets see what happens. In general i wouldn't be visiting this branch ever again. Also if i don't get my £20 back in my account, a complaint will be coming and if not resolved, taking every penny out. Visited the branch and heard some made up stories without a single contact or evidence. Nothing at all. No email. No letter. Spoke to Karen and Alana. Manager not interested either.
