TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM 648 Notre Dame Avenue Spence

Overall the bank is not bad but when I came to the branch to ask for help activating my credit card, the woman of Asian appearance was rude to me. She didn’t even try to help or look into the issue. I understand everything but such treatment of customers is definitely not at the level of proper service.

I am a TD client and took an appointment. I went 20 mins early. But when my time came, no one called me. No one at the reception, so I asked the security about my appointment and then he said probably the advisor is busy with another client. Like, I didnt walk in for the meeting, I had an appointment and the advisor should respect the appointment time. Everyone is busy. Time is money!

Stood in line for 30 minutes when it was finally my turn, I went to cash my cheque. the NEW manger told me he doesn't know me so has to put a 5 day hold on it, meanwhile I’ve been cashing the same cheque there for years and now it’s a problem.The manger was super rude told me every cheque I cash he’s going to put a 5 day hold on them every time, and told me instead of getting cheques to get direct deposit. This was so uncalled for, this needs to be investigated immediately. There was no professionalism whatsoever. Didn’t care to resolve anything. Had to go to another bank to cash my cheque. If you are NEAR THIS BANK AVOID IT AT ALL COST, it’s worth saving your time and energy just to go somewhere else and get treated with respect and kindness.

I've had a few bad experiences with this branch. Another one just about happened yesterday. The teller was NOT helpful and did not want to be. But Rachel at the front desk saved the day! She was so kind and solved my problems with patience and professionalism! 5 stars for Rachel!

I’ve been banking with TD since 2016, but this branch gave me the worst experience ever. The security guard was extremely rude and disrespectful, which made me feel completely unwelcome. After years of loyalty, I didn’t expect to be treated this way. Very disappointed — TD needs to train their staff to treat customers with respect and professionalism. Oct-7-2025 3:40 pm
