I am sharing my honest and very disappointing experience with Kotak. I had taken a personal loan of ₹125,000 after being informed that I had a pre-approved offer. In the beginning, I was paying all my EMIs regularly and on time. However, a few months later, my financial situation became extremely difficult due to a serious medical emergency in my family. I had to bear heavy hospital expenses, and during that painful period, I also lost my daughter. It was the most devastating time of my life, both emotionally and financially. Because of this situation, I was unable to pay 2 EMIs on time. Apart from that, there were occasions when my EMI payment was delayed by 1–2 days due to financial stress. For those small delays as well, separate penalty charges were deducted directly from my account. I am writing this review out of complete frustration with the pathetic level of service provided by this branch. The staff here is not only unresponsive but also completely careless about customer issues. Despite repeated follow-ups, no one takes ownership, no one provides proper information, and every request is treated with absolutely zero sense of responsibility. The behaviour of the employees is shockingly unprofessional. They neither communicate properly nor show any willingness to resolve genuine concerns. Basic customer service is completely missing. Even serious issues are ignored as if customers’ time and business do not matter at all. It is extremely disappointing to see such negligence from a reputed bank. This branch seriously needs to improve its staff attitude, accountability, and response time.
