HDFC Bank PN 564, TPS 3, Gr Floor, Sumit Enclave 20Ft Flyover Rd, Junction Link Rd Swami Vivekanand Road Kandivali

I opened an account with HDFC because it is supposed to be an excellant bank. I was able to open accounts sitting at my home in USA. Online banking works great. I had trouble at an ATM in Mumbai near a different branch. I went into the branch and they fixed the issue in 5 mins. So far so good. Now I have to deal with this "home" branch and am NOT getting any response from them. I emailed them which include the branch manager Mr. Siddartha Mishra and few others. But no response. I just want to add my daughter to my account. If I was able to open an account from USA, I should be able to do the same from USA as well. I tried calling them but the phone disconnects immediately. The employee I had met during my first and only visit to the branch, Sunil, only responds on WhatsApp to say when he is not available. Horrible experience as they barely respond. This is by far the worst experience I've ever faced. Don't use HDFC services especially if you're an NRI. We have to beg them to resolve our issue but they'll still take months to resolve. I'm unable to access my account for months now!

NRE's Do not even think about HDFC. Worst service ever. I cannot even express the amount of unprofessionalism I am currently experiencing from this branch. NRE account opening took 14 days and PIS account opening is still in process..Its been a month exactly since I visited the branch to open it. I was told everything will be done in 1 week. Their employee Sunil hardly ever replies on watsapp. I am out of the country so kind of stuck with this bank for now. Will end all interaction with HDFC as soon as I get back to India. Such a disaster this experience was.

Considering HDFC to be a very good bank, I decided to open a new account in it but I had a bad experience the first time. Due to transaction through check from my other bank, debit was done but till now the balance has not come in the account. I have to call again and again for the same work.
