I live in Dubai and planned to open bank account at Oman Arab bank, because I’ve been hearing great things about Oman. I had the pleasure of talking to Mrs. Jawaher Yousuf as the point of contact. I’ve never tried to open a bank account and had better service anywhere in the world. Her colleague Mrs. Sara Mohammed Al Balushi even booked a flight to come and help me open an account in Dubai. If you want to a bank in Oman with better service I doubt you can find one.

Only one counter is working that one also taking a hour to serve one client only

Today we visited the Head branch and unfortunately we had a issue in obtaining a new card and but no one helped us. In addition, staff received us and the response was, “We will come to help you after half an hour,” but no one came. In also, the staffs were evading our help, however no one checked that the device contained cards or not. Actually the treatment was bad from this branch and another branch affiliated with them, and I'm willing to mention the names of the staff had be attended there. I didn't advise anyone to open accounts with them based on bad personal experience.
