It has now been 3 weeks and 3 days just to change a date on an old finance agreement for a building I completed in 2014. I went to Business Bay, and they told me to go to the Head Office. The Head Office then told me to go back to Business Bay. Business Bay said it was Deyar’s responsibility. I went to Deyar, and they told me it was the Head Office again. This is very frustrating and unprofessional. I should have sent my PRO thinking life was easy like before. At the Head Office, the security staff and the employees were acting as if they owned the bank. There was zero customer service interaction. I had to raise my voice just to get someone to come down and speak to me after waiting for 10 minutes. The manager really needs to address this issue. There should be a proper customer service representative at reception in the head office and security staff should not be the ones handling high-value clients. The Head Office was not like this 15 years ago. It used to feel like a five star

Of course the Head Office branch would be the best branch to deal with. Miss Khalsoom is the best customer service officer at a bank I have ever met. She is not only efficient, organized and pleasant when meeting you, she goes overboard and sees your case to the end, even when her shift has ended. I am extremely happy with DIB based on the service she has provided. A very professional lady. Thank you Khalsoom 🙏🏼.

I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with Dubai Islamic Bank. Their service is slow, disorganized, and lacks proper communication. Simple requests take weeks to process, and follow-ups are constantly ignored. Every visit or call feels like starting from zero because no one seems to have the right information. Especially the head office branch. Also as Emirati they don’t allow me to enter the building and meet the management team.

This is by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with in the UAE. Absolute waste of time, energy, and patience. Every interaction is full of unnecessary drama, delays, and excuses. There is zero professionalism or ethics in the way customers are treated. Instead of solving issues, the staff and even the mobile banking experience seem to enjoy creating confusion. Responses are sarcastic, dismissive, and sometimes feel deliberately unhelpful. It honestly feels like customer frustration is treated as entertainment. Simple requests turn into endless follow-ups with no resolution. No accountability, no ownership, no clarity—just scripted replies and attitude. If you’re expecting efficiency, respect, or even basic customer care, lower your expectations to the ground. I strongly do not recommend this bank to anyone who values their time, peace of mind, or professionalism. Plenty of better options exist in the UAE—this one should be avoided at all costs
