I absolutely LOVE Chime. They are always polite, eager to help with anything you need, no errors in my account. If there is a transaction that I do not recognize, they start a dispute and it is almost always resolved within 10 to 15 days. I have had banking accounts but Chime performs so much better. Their customer service is TOP NOTCH!
I use Chime Financial Services which is a FinTech in San Franscio but Chime is NOT A BANK, it partners with two different banks. First, The Bancorp Bank headquatered here in my state of DE and the other is Stride Bank that partner with Chime to offer the Credit Builder credit card. One month my deposit didn't come when expected because of the get direct deposit up to 2 days early but it never camed and I called Chime and they couldn't tell me a where my deposit was even though there government benefits so after some research I called The Bancorp Bank who is the banking partner of Chime on checking and savings account. Banks know exactly where your deposit is through their systems and I did confirm with Social Sercurity that my benefits was paid but when I called The Bancorp I got hung up almost every time. They wouldn't transfer me to the Chime department and wouldn't check where my deposit was. Three days after I was supose to get my direct deposit I physically went to The Bancor
Absolutely the worst banking app of all banking apps .they hold your school money and refuse to give it to you when they make mistakes..I have contacted a attorney and we are filing suit..anyone feel the same contact me asap.
I have never heard of or banked with this company. I received a letter in the mail with a debit card and account number. I contacted the company and informed them it was fraudulent. The customer service rep stated that he closed the account and needed my email address. I refused to provide my email address because it's a further breach of my identity/security, and clearly, someone at the company or scammers could use it for additional fraud. I informed the rep to mail me an official closed account and fraud notice letter. He refused and said he could only send it via email. It made no logical sense because an account was clearly opened with my mailing address, not my email. I never received a single notice via email, and though I protested, he still refused to send the letter via mail. The call ended, and I contacted the Federal Trade Commission and IC3. This absolutely terrifying and absurd that a company has such practices.
Run far away! I had fraudulent activity on my card, and they did not refund my card. These people are EVILLLLLLLLLLL!
