Post script (note) since its a govt bank tax payment timing is 10am to 1pm (yes only three hours) that is what i am told by a person at the bank counter.Can authorities concerned increase their working timing?

NBP also has a kiosk for collection of MVT, the timings are different from the bank. Need to visit with original book and cash amount. Do not forget to take the Tax sticker of car from the MVT personals. Give book at the koisk, who will give you a printed payment challan to be paid at NBP counter. Take the paid receipt back to the Kiosk to get your Book stamped and signed. Also you will be given a computerized vehicle tax certificate.
