Many people will acknowledge that Punjab and Sind Bank is the worst bank in India. And, this branch is doing its best to ensure that this Numero Uno status from the bottom is not challenged in years to come. In my many visits to the branch which by the way is located in the heart of Jammu's business district, I have hardly seen any other customer at the branch premises. The staff's lack of knowledge and contempt for even the deposit customers is stuff of legend. They are ably supported by the bank's ancient software. If there was ever a case for Privatization of PSU banks, PSB should be the first in line.

I had an account with the RBI but then my friend advised me to switch to PSB. I must say I have never seen a bank like this. Professional service, good interest rates and a beautiful location near Shalamar. The staff is pretty nice and friendly too. From the security guard to the Bank manager, all of them are very friendly. Even the customer service from the clerks is pretty nice. Pranav Kandhari is probably the best clerk in the world. His dedication towards his work and customers makes him standout from the rest of the employees. Overall very good bank. I have invested all my savings here. You should also.
