What kind of an international bank is this? In past 8 months no one has bothered to pick the phone on their helpline. Even when I had my wallet lost and instantly wanted to block my debit card, nobody picked my phone for 20 mins. I have had troubles with online transactions and nobody picked my phone even when I'm waiting on the call for hours. Secondly the app layout is the worst. It's slow as hell and doesn't even allow you to take screenshot of the receipt as the proof of your payment. I can't believe this is an international bank. I can't believe even a bank which is on the brink of default would offer such pathetic service.

I have been a client of SCB since 2005 and do banking online n physical. I have observed ATM services of SCB Ahram Plaza University Road Karachi very pathetic and poor. Today visited for cash withdrawls. Found following: a. ATM n Cash deposit machines have installed in single space side by side. very risky for clients handling cash on both machines b. No lock is provided to lock the room from inside. It is very risky n unsafe. c. AC of the ATM/Cask deposit mahines was off or not working. There was load shed at the time of visit d. Due to insufficient cash in ATM, needed to withdraw 10k transactions for more than 10K withdrawls. e. Due to point-d, waited outside AtM room. Despite Sec Gaurd no Fan was installed for clients standing/waiting and Sec gaurd was also performing duty in hot weather without any fan there. Bank should consider to fix these ASAP to deliver good services to clients. Thanks

Worst ever service experienced in almost ten years of my dealing with SCB branches in Lahore and Karachi. I was there last week to get the pay orders made and found that not only the process is slow but they're also not well equipped technically. The machine got hanged and the staff wasn't able to restart it due to which they were not able to print out the pay orders. They tried on another machine but turned out that the printer attached to it isn't working. Upon inquiring, the staff said they're frustrated about these technical issues themselves. One of them even said that we've got the name of SCB but works like NBP.

Bank is nice ofcourse. But they never have a customer rep. Available on their UAN number. Worth opening an account at? I dont know. May be yeah. . But god have i ever seen a helpdesk more unhelpful than zohaib sb in his crisp shirt looking down on his papers?!? talking to u without even looking at u. And asking cross questions instead of guiding u. So yeah if u r a first timer. Avoid this branch (near ashfaq memorial) may be. Recption desk is just an empty chair with the chowkidar lala roaming inside the ofc guiding people and maintaining the protocol.

I went to #StandardCharteredBank branch in 13-D, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, to deposit cheques. The machine did not return the card. When I complained,, the lady behind the senior citizen counter was rude and just walked away. When I approached one of the executives named Salman, he was not only disgustingly arrogant but also acted like a neandrethal ape. First he refused to believe that something is wrong with the machine and stated "sir ap k card ya account mein kuch masla hoga." When I pointed out that the card belongs to Standard Chartered Bank, he was like "we cant do anything about it." For the first time I realized that #StandardChartered is just an 'oonchi dukan pheeka pakwan.' If I have to be mistreated, I'd rather go to NBP where I know the system does not work. How the hell these guys get a job in public service with such poor attitude? Shame on Standard Chartered Bank. Will be closing my account.
