It’s really disappointing that in 2025, a major bank like ABSA still operates with such limited branch hours (opening only at 9:00 and closing at 15:30) and yet does not allow simple processes like password or PIN resets to be handled online or telephonically. In a time where convenience and digital access are essential, customers shouldn’t have to take time off work or visit a branch for basic account management. ABSA urgently needs to modernize its approach to customer service and digital accessibility.

This was one of the most frustrating experiences. How can a teller allow other people to skip us in the queue? That’s highly unprofessional. I’m extremely disappointed and seriously considering switching to another bank. You really need to improve your customer service if you want to remain competitive in the market. Having a branch with an average rating below 2 clearly reflects the poor level of professionalism there!

Needed assistance in the bank branch. We went while it was very quiet. Joined the queue and was greeted by the BA (Bank host) a few minutes later. She asked what our business was and then directed us to see a consultant. We waited a long time to be assisted even though it was not very busy. When the consultant returned and assisted us, it went very fast and efficiently. Overall some improvement are needed as it's not time efficient nor an enjoyable journey until you get helped. Wheelchair friendly and easy accessible with no limitations. Ample under cover and open paid parking available. Shop LF15. Lower Floor. Close to Exclusive Books, CNA and all other major banks. Would recommend them but take note it can be a bit tardy.

The service in ABSA in Menlyn is very slow. And this for picking up a document as my only requirement. I will not be back...
