Encouraged by what seemed like efficiency, I opened an account with Nordea a month ago. Unfortunately, staff at the branch failed to record my details properly, which has resulted in significant delays to accessing my account and other services in the Norway. Meanwhile, they're happily accepting payments into the account whilst offering no access to my money whatsoever. I am unable to pay rent, buy food and other necessities, due in whole to the incompetence of Nordea. And they'll charge me 750 NOK for the privilege, to boot. Do yourself a favour and choose a different bank.
Long wait times, no cash to withdraw since you can only do that via ATM and the inherent limits they have.
Nordea doesn't answer the phone, it's overloaded... You can't get into the branch in Sandvika, the door is locked. You have to call to ask for an appointment at the branch, via a phone that after hours of waiting no one answers. The staffed branches are gone, they no longer have cashiers, their ATMs are being closed down..... Halloooo
Terrible customer service at Nordea, 110 minutes on the phone! Impossible to get into chat, constantly looping. Change bank!!!!
Why is it not possible to find the phone number for Nordea anywhere? Not using the internet.
