ANZ Branch Norwood 192 The Parade Norwood

Arrived at branch to make an electronic transfer. Queued to see a teller. She advised the bank to whom the transfer was to be made was not anz. Told me i should make an appointment for this service. But she said take a seat and she would find someone to assist. I waited 40mins. Then spoke to an employee to see how much longer i needed to wait. He advised that i would need to make an appointment and come back in 3 hours time.

Went to retrieve items couriered to this branch. Not only did they NOT inform me of its arrival via SMS and email four days prior to me trying to retrieve it(as per protocol), but when I did turn up looking for my items was told it had not arrived. After 45 minutes on the phone to a very confused and helpful call centre staff member, I then returned to the branch to be told that it was in the safe the whole time. This repeated incompetence has cost me 2 hours of my time during my annual leave. The whole thing should have been completed in 30 seconds. Go to another branch - the staff here are collectively unfit to handle your money and your business.

I’ve always had good service at ANZ Norwood however the male teller that served me recently needs another course on customer service skills, was abrupt & robotic. ANZ you can do better!

I can not rate Mr David Marsh ANZ mortgage solutions highly enough. His commitment to his customers out weighs any service we have received in 35 years of banking with Anz. He follows everything through to the end , his positive daily communication shows his commitment to help the customer every step of the way. His personal touch is authentic and comforting.

EVERY TIME, WITHOUT EXCEPTION THAT I GO TO ANZ BANK AT NORWOOD, I WAIT EXCESSIVE TIME BEFORE BEING SERVED. AS A SOLE TRADER, ANZ BANK COST ME WORK TIME & THEREFORE MONEY TO DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM. I SHIFTED TO BENDIGO BANK AND ITS MUCH BETTER THERE.
