went in hoping to open a bank account as i was travelling to nz for a long period of time. there was actually no queue until i popped back in a little bit later to ask another question. i was told i couldn’t be helped that day and had to wait (until after i would’ve already left, of course i needed money being over here!) i was told to setup with anz plus being an online based account, which they had time to sit down with me for that and apparently help me set up with plus and not opening with them?! also being that i didn’t want an online based account as if i needed help, (which i have!) branches can’t help me as it’s not connected to them, i was also told that i could get help from branches. i was told that it would suit my needs, i wasn’t told i would still have to pay for currency exchange or that australia and nz anz are completely different. i only opened with anz as i was under the impression i could use it just fine being in nz or i would NOT have bothered. i could say more bu

I came in branch to inform my partner just passed away. Trish the lady who serve me hold my hand and said I'm very sorry for your loss. We than walk together to the desk she was concern for my needs & privacy at the time she choose the corner desk. I cry to her and poor Trish have to rush finding tissue for me. It is little detail but the kindness from her the service she provide for me which is very different to what I've received before. Thank you for taking the time and gave me a positive mode even though the appointment was make in another branch due to my busy schedule.

The money was swallowed by the atm. The next day, I went to the counter to fill out a form. Since I wasn't sure if it was 1000 or 1135, I filled in 1000, thinking that such a big bank wouldn't cheat me out of my money. But I only received 1000. The reason was that if I filled in 1000, I would be given 1000! The banking system has no evidence to prove every sum of money deposited! I said I wanted to find a manager to receive me. The man said the manager was too busy in a meeting. Even if she came out, she would still say the same thing to me! They have no way to find out any amount after my money was swallowed at 5:20pm

So disappointed with really bad service even on the phone I can't use my account and I really need it so how frustrating that is your money and you can use it ? I went to the bank and bank gave me number and reference number said call this number and they will help you out we can't do anything and when I rang them they said go to the branch we can't do anything lol I don't know how they are running business branch must have all control if we can't visit they we can call online that make sense but this is pretty bad service from ANZ

Saw a lady at the counter treat an elderly couple with impaitience, rude tone and lacking of compassion. Do not come to this branch if you need any help.
