ATM not functioning properly here either. Very poor service from ANZ as there is only this branch and Kingston available on south side of Hobart. ATM in Kingston nearly always Out of Order. Very poor indeed. Would not recommend this bank to anyone.h

Very disappointed with the customer service and financial literacy of some of the so called home loan or lending specialists that work here. I had to go into the bank to ask some questions about my home loan balance and I received very unhelpful responses from Leanne. My home loan balance grew by $2k from Dec to Jan in spite of making repayments and all she did was print the statements and argue how the Debits and Credits add up to the total balance as of Jan. She felt challenged when I asked her to explain why my balance has increased and all she could say was those are your repayments and your interest payments making up the total amount. I asked her how can my balance grow if I’m making repayments - it doesn’t make sense. To which she replied well you’ve changed from monthly to weekly repayments so you’ve now reduced your repayments. Now this is not true, I changed from monthly to weekly but my minimum repayments have not changed - she was trying to come up with all sorts of ridi

I just went into the hobart branch to deposit a large amount of cash. We counted the cash 3 times with 2 seperate people at home. The teller took the money out the back to count the money and said we were $50 short. The girl was a trainee so I don’t won’t to be to hard on her. I asked her to count in front of me and she came up with a totally different figure. The teller next door came involved after I complained that they should not of originally counted the money out the back. She got the counter again and counted the money for a third time. This time is came up as what we had told them. My main complaint is the total lack of responsibility or any sort of acknowledgement by the senior staff member. She just said in a sarcastic voice. “Are you happy with that total. “ I felt like I was causing trouble and I should of just walk out accepting their original count and been $50 short Exteremely bad customer service by the senior teller (non trainee). My card was retained by the ATM during the weekend, and they just destroyed without waiting for someone to talk to them. Said can not verify? You can certainly check your CCTV and my ID, right? Very bad experience, will never use their services again!
