I had a disappointing experience with an employee named Cassie today. Her customer service and communication skills were very poor. When I asked questions about something I didn’t understand, she responded in a frustrated and unprofessional manner. The interaction made my morning unpleasant. I hope the bank can address this and provide better customer service training

I am absolutely disgusted with the level of customer service I received from ANZ. I came into the branch today after their faulty ATM swallowed my cash — money I urgently needed for the day — and not only was there zero urgency from staff to help, the teller I spoke to was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Instead of showing empathy or offering a real solution, I was met with indifference and vague instructions to “wait and see if it turns up.” No accountability, no apology — just a cold shoulder when I was clearly stressed. I wasn’t even offered a temporary solution despite the issue being caused by their broken machine. This is beyond poor service — it’s negligence. For a major bank to leave a customer with no access to their own funds and offer nothing but condescension is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve been with ANZ for years, but this experience has made it very clear that loyalty means nothing to them. Fix your machines. Train your staff. And stop treating your custom

Tim was amazing to deal with and went above and beyond to ensure my banking needs were met. This unexpectedly made the process less stressful, as he was very efficient, understanding and knowlegable. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

I can list 3 good reasons why this branch sucks. - on weekdays the staff clearly lack urgency and ignore everyone. It’s wild. - there are frequently homeless people sleeping inside on weekends where the ATMs are; this is not safe or sanitary. Who wants to take out money when someone filthy and possibly dangerous is lying on the ground next to you in their own piss? Get some security!!
