Hands down the worst banking experience I’ve ever had when dealing with a large transaction. What should’ve been a straightforward process turned into a ridiculous saga that took five separate visits to the branch. Every time I went in, I was given a different excuse, a different story, or told to “come back tomorrow” because someone couldn’t complete the task properly. The manager herself even acknowledged the inconvenience and told me she would compensate me $50 for all the back-and-forth. But like everything else in this process, that promise went nowhere—nothing was ever paid, no follow-up, no accountability. The fact that a bank can’t get a single transfer processed without dragging a customer in five times is honestly unbelievable. It shows a complete lack of organisation, communication, and basic respect for people’s time. This branch has become beyond disgusting. I used to deal with a lovely girl named Jana and she was the most competent person. Also Rana was a gem and neither staff members are there. I had the pleasure of dealing with Mariam a couple of times and in both occasions she was very helpful, understanding and provided a very professional and courteous service to a matter related to my mum's account. She is definitely a great employee and asset to NAB and the Banktown branch.

Came into branch to discuss accounts, all other staff were with customers and the woman with the scarf in the first office was texting, looked at me and went back to texting. Poor service especially when all other staff were working hard, left without opening anything. So disappointing…

Please provide diversity training for the older lady at the front with blond hair, she was very inconsiderate with a customer who struggled with English. I observed this as a customer waiting in line, and the customer was quite flustered as the banker was very impatient and did not have patience for the customer. DIVERSITY TRAINING required.
