Never get a home loan from Westpac they suck as a Bank. They will deny you for literally anything under perfect.
OmG there are so many banking reviews with one * and it is dreadful reading them. I will advise these unhappy people to write to the Banking Ombudsman in Wellington to report of these banking staff abusing the customers. Of course after that you need to change to a better bank. Frankly I am a level 6, local guide. I have a gutsful of school girls and school boys reactions from mistakes made entirely by these very rude banking staff. I will not disclose my displeasure here but I will email the banking Ombudsman together with photos and evidence of how these staff can be so simple and stupid. This is the worse banking branch I have ever experienced in NZ. Thanks I have a go at the ombudsman and see what she has to say because I am not the only one giving this branch a 1 out of 5 stars. I would have given them 0 stars but they got out of bed and open the branch so they got one *. I am over 70 yrs old and I am a retired professional man who does not want to cause trouble. Very good service, teller good supportive. Humble
My mother has ongoing issues with a payment going out to her Doctors for will over a year. Going back and forth between the brunch and her doctor. And no one at the bank or customer service 0800 failed to really look at the details. If so the would of picked up on the miss spelling of her last name. This has brought nothing but stress and anxiety. Thank goodness yesterday when I called the call center I lucked out and talked with Someone who know how to do there job. Turns out to be a simple spelling mistake.
Horrible experience here with the front office. We had an appointment scheduled at terrace end which was already changed once by the front desk. When we reached the brach the officer told us that we missed the appointment which is not true. This was bcz the appointment was not properly updated by the staff properly. When we explained the things, We were asked to come after 5 days again. Lady Staff who spoke to me was very rude to me and I felt really bad. I am also a banking professional. Unacceptable interactions.. i don’t recommend this bank.
