Westpac Queenstown Central Shopping Centre Central Street Frankton Queenstown

Got ghosted after providing the documents asked to open a bank account at Westpac. Very disappointed and distressing. First was told within 5 days they will discard the form I completed in person if the requested documents (my address confirmation) weren’t provided. I had provided my resident visa proof and copy of my passport on the day of application and my proof of address within 2 days as requested. No response, absolutely terrible customer service. I was waiting to open this to get paid for my job.Still.nothing. Ended up opening with kiwi bank. As a loyal Australian westpac user i have never experienced anything like this. Hopefully this is not some form of discrimination. Please investigate this issue.

Google maps says it open till 4:30pm. I see people inside and a sign on the door that they are closed all day. What a waste of my time and bus fair. Wish some staff would be smart and update the open times online.

Lets be fair here. It is NOT the staffs fault when it comes to the opening and closing times so stop knocking them for that. The staff at Westpac are amazing, helpful and very kind. Credit where credit is due xox
