As a foreigner I was able to successfully use my Charles Schwab debit card here. My debit card didn't work at the world bank, not too far away.
The staff at the regular counters are friendly, even the men. There are a lot of people, and even if the wait is long, you'll still have to wait. Other banks offer assistance with simple tasks at other counters, but here, the card and loan departments always seem to be busy... The air quality isn't great.
Don't try to tell me the way.
They are extremely picky here just because it is a bank in downtown Seoul. The waiting time is extremely long. Just go to a local bank. The paperwork is much stricter, and there are a lot of foreigners.
