Of all the BancoEstado branches, this is the worst. Customer service is led by a person who lacks judgment, is sloppy, and barely knows how to answer the phone. This branch really needs a complete overhaul of its organizational structure. Currently, it's designed to avoid serving customers.
If you need to complete a procedure after 10 AM, DO NOT COME. The service is poor and you won't finish your procedure before 3 PM. They only attend to two people every half hour.
La peor experiencia en atención de un banco. Viaje desde Valdivia llegué a la apertura del banco a retirar un documento para posterior seguir el trámite en el registro civil que por horario cerro a las 14:00, por lo tanto tuve que pagar un hospedaje para continuar con el trámite al siguiente día, un gasto no presupuestado, filas interminables, pésima atención el jefe de sucursal brilla por su ausencia.
If BancoEstado is bad in general, the BancoEstado branches in Los Andes are even worse, and above all, the O'Higgins branch is mediocre and pathetic. To begin with, if you don't arrive before 9:00 AM, you'll easily be served after 3:00 PM, practically at the doorstep of a bank that's already closed. Huge lines, overcrowded seating for the most basic things that can only be done at that branch—the atmosphere is depressing. But what's truly depressing is the service at the teller windows, easily the worst they offer. They only have three teller windows to handle transactions that take more than 30 minutes in some cases, creating an incredible bottleneck that no engineer or administrator could solve, with people waiting for one of the three windows to become available. Obviously, patience is key, and people wait and approach these three teller windows with respect and courtesy to complete their transactions. Today, after the pandemic, you can enter freely; there are no more restrictions on the number of people allowed. However, the service remains poor and slow. In the almost two hours I've been here, they've only processed four numbers in the section I need to deal with. In all this time, only four numbers... meaning you have to arrive before 8:00 AM and leave after 2:00 PM to get any service. It's a very long time. The service is poor and slow, with little efficiency in the procedures, and the phone service is terrible for getting through to avoid an in-person visit to the bank.
