I was pretty terrified when I went here because of all of the reviews I had read, but I had a very normal and decent experience opening my CuentaRUT. I went in and was able to walk out with my account and card in about 90 minutes. The two ladies who helped me were very nice to me.

The worst bank in all of Chile. First, I went to the ATM to withdraw 30 Lucas coins, and they gave me back 25, but the bank said I had withdrawn 30. I had to go to customer service, and they fixed it. Then I went to exchange 500 and 100 coins. The cashiers provided terrible service, making me wait in three lines because they couldn't bring themselves to ask their coworkers if they had any 100 coins. They wasted my time. You ask for time off from work to do paperwork, and with their ill-will, they just waste my time. Terrible customer service from the three people at the register.

I had to go twice because one of the guys at the counter didn't know how to help me. I wasted an hour each time because there were only two people in customer service. There were only four people before me. The second time, the same guy called me. He asked for help again because he didn't know what to do. He told me the problem was solved, but when I got home, it turned out it wasn't. I'll have to go a third time.

The incompetence of this bank's staff is unbelievable. We waited over 50 minutes in a branch with only four customers inside. Seriously, an hour-long wait with four other people... No wonder the country is in such a state. Public officials are a disgrace in every department.

Endless lines at the registers and customer service desks. Only two people working. Plus, they sell insurance at the registers, which means 15-19 minutes with each person. And the managers and supervisors? Sitting around drinking coffee. Laughing their heads off. Awful.
