I don't recommend Bank Danamon for credit card or bank transactions. My most recent experience involved closing a credit card, where I still had a balance. This balance wasn't refunded, so Danamon took it. I called twice without success, and was advised to go to a branch. I suspect they're just trying to push me around as a former customer. This isn't good, so I don't recommend it completely.

The 2024 Credit Card has not been activated. After activation in August 2025, a single annual fee was charged, and in October 2025, a double annual fee was charged. Unfair, and arbitrary. Bad Bank 👎

The worst banking experience I've ever had. This was the first time a mortgage takeover had to be processed twice at the notary's office because the first mortgage contract couldn't be processed due to negligence in disbursing the loan payment to the original bank. The issue was reportedly being processed at the head office's approval process (the banker's excuse). The same mortgage takeover, however, failed to pay off the loan, leaving the remaining balance of the approved mortgage loan (offer letter), and the funds have been frozen for a month. My first contract was on May 5, 2025, the second on May 9, 2025, and the bank's payment was due on May 15, 2025. As of June 13, the remaining funds, which were supposed to be topping up my loan, remain frozen. For prospective customers who don't have the time or patience to deal with the bureaucracy at this bank, I strongly discourage this application, as I personally regret applying for a takeover now.
