While you talk about customer trust and security, Swedbank Lithuania has incorrectly and negligently labeled me as a wanted criminal in Ireland and the UK, ignoring my valid passport. My life has been destroyed and I have been socially isolated because of your data failure. ​I am notifying the public that the Bank of Lithuania and the VDAI have officially registered my dispute (Case 1R-1142). I demand an immediate settlement of 8,000 EUR and a formal apology for this defamation. Stop ignoring your professional negligence under GDPR!"

Swedish banks are really terrible. They closed my BankID and my account over trivial matters. I have done everything transparently and according to the law. I even sent explanations for everything, but they immediately closed my account. I tried to open an account at another bank several times, but no luck. The employees at Swedish banks are extremely incompetent—they don’t know their job. They even sent my money in the form of a check, which I couldn’t access because the account was closed, causing delays. As a result, I couldn’t receive my salary or make payments, and debts started accumulating. It’s truly frustrating. I can’t believe such banks still exist in modern times. Their system is inconsistent, yet they don’t seem to notice. Why do they remain silent about all this?

Having heard horror stories of trying to open bank accounts in Sweden, we had an unbelievably helpful, professional, and efficient account opening at this branch. Kudos to Jakob and his manager for being able to understand exactly what we were looking to do (open a joint account), handling the complexities involved, and doing it all in such a short time (30 minutes)! Great experience!!!

I went to this swedbank on 29th October, 2023 and the staff take all my documents and got an appointment to open a bank ID on 18th December, 2023. But when I went on 18th, the staff there said that I don’t have any appointment and give me call center number. When I call the call center number, the call center said that I need to go to the branch to make an appointment. Swedbank staffs are really unprofessional and do not know about their services at all.
