Their service is very poor. Doesn't know the basics of customer service. Their loan officer processing customer applications think as if we take money from their own bank account ... !

This Branch is Just like a typical inefficient government office.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at this HNB branch and feel ashamed to have been a customer for the last four years. The loan officer should recognize that their operations rely on the interest paid by customers, a basic fact acknowledged by the CBSL and common sense. Despite having a salary exceeding 200,000, I was unable to secure a loan, and the staff's attitude made it feel as though they perceived us as potential thieves. It's truly pathetic

Worst ever branch of HNB.staff was very arrogant I got a call from credit officer nawam mawatha branch today morning to collect my credit card and she told me to galle branch and send a memo to give card to me.i called galled branch and they said me no need of memo just go to nawam mawatha with my ID Card.so that i went there at about 2.15pm and they ask me a memo.i said that galle branch told me that no need of a memo.then they call the galle branch and had a argument with them.nawam mawatha credit officer and the other officer was so arragant and they refused to issue the credit card to me.i ask for the reason and they said galle branch refused to send a memo to them.then isaid that that is not my business and why would you verify me by my ID card.the lady said that ID card can bring another person.i said that just check with the photo in the ID.how ever they don’t give me the card waste my valuable time.

Worst experience in a bank ever. Came to exchange a cash check but the issued person's bank account didn't had enough money. They treated me like it is my fault and asked me to wait a long time. Even when I asked the check return to me, they said they can't without confirmation from some other bank. 😫
