Increasingly incompetent, they change advisors without warning, and what's more, they've given me an advisor who, in my opinion, is incompetent and doesn't look for any solutions. I've had two advisors, one of whom always found solutions, and two others, including the one I have now, who are useless. I don't want them anymore. They ask me questions that are none of her business, and besides, I do what I want. I'm going to call to speak to a man, not a woman, at Banque Populaire, otherwise I'll cancel everything. And secondly, I want to get what I asked for, or at least have some solutions offered to me.
A customer for 20 years, I just cancelled everything today. The advisor was incompetent and appalling, never reachable. Debiting the monthly payments was no problem, but as soon as you have a complaint, it's impossible to get a response. I'm switching to my other bank (Crédit Agricole), which is so much friendlier and more responsive. A wink to my advisor, don't you go!
Major security issue. No response or consistently prolonged delays with the fraud department. No real feedback. So, after three months, I'm not being taken seriously. It's a bit much. It's almost as if they're actually responsible but don't want to take responsibility.
As a long-time customer located hundreds of kilometers away, I have always received prompt support and answers to my questions and projects. Completely satisfied with the online bank.
This bank is one I absolutely do not recommend. For five months I've been trying to contact my advisor by email and by phone every four days, always getting the same answer: he's in a meeting, on a call, or on vacation. I always get the same response. I leave him a message and he'll get back to me as soon as possible (five months of waiting). To be clear... my last attempt was to write a letter to the Banque Populaire headquarters, which I mentioned to the last online advisor I spoke to. Strangely enough, the following week I received a short email from my advisor to close my account. So, in conclusion, this is a bank to avoid; they're incompetent.
