I only offered 2 stars because in the past I had okish experiences too,but every time when I need to do something in this bank,everything is almost impossible. Is the only bank where you can’t lodge money into someone’s BOI account,without having an account with them… all the other banks around will take cash lodgement at the cashier….this is a joke…. They should put an announcement about this at the front door,like this people won’t waste their time waiting in a long queue for nothing….

Appalling level of customer service at this branch. Not typical of Bank of Ireland in my experience. Simply wanted to set up bank account for my young daughter. Three customer service staff, (Friday 9th August) none interested in getting this business despite asking for help twice. One member of staff asked me to wait for a computer but never returned, choosing instead to hover around but not really help anyone. After waiting 20 mins I asked a second member of staff to help - same scenario but manner on this occasion was abrupt and rude. Left after a further 20 mins. Competitor bank a few doors down offered much better service and were interested in business. Most disappointing for BOI.

Customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. Female service assistant simply walked away and ignored issues . Absolutely rude . She was informed of this and again ignored comment .Management should take note .... instruct your staff in good customer relation techniques .Just read review I left....to this day three years since original post I have not recieved any reply from the bank.... terrible service

They never have enough cashiers. Every month I'm waiting at least half an hour, sometimes an hour for a cahier. Will be moving my business's to AIB where I know you get seen to immediately
