Trying to close an account with this company is nearly impossible. Once you're in, they make it extremely difficult to leave. Even if you've only just opened an account, cancelling it is not straightforward. Their system doesn’t allow for online cancellations—instead, you're required to purchase a registered envelope *from them*, and then send a physical letter to request closure. Opening an account takes less than five minutes, and they’ll gladly take your €30 instantly. But getting that money back after closing the account can take up to two months. To make matters worse, each adviser gives you different information, and no one seems to take responsibility for anything. The entire process is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. A bit of common sense and customer care would go a long way here.

Been trying to close my account FOR MONTHS now. The tracking shows that the letter was already delivered, but NO MONEY has been transferred to my account and the account from LBP have not been closed. Please stop scamming people.

Since 4 month we want to transefer our money to some other bank. Impossible! Nobody answers, nobody knows anything! 4 letters sent, no answer. Terrible service and I do NOT recomend this banque what so ever.

A bank to avoid! After 20 years with them, I decided to close my account. It's been 5 months since I switched banks. I've sent emails and registered letters, but I haven't received any response. On top of that, they charge fees and don't reply to registered letters or my complaints. It deserves zero stars; that's what it deserves. If you don't give one star, the review is invalid. Run away... absolutely not!!
