I walked into the office to ask for a cheque book for an account active in the bank for 5 years, and I was turned back from the reception stating it needs to applied online. My experience online was been even more disappointing, never received my debit card after applying three times after expiry of the first issued card. Really poor banking experience, more is expected out of a bank when you walk in.

Alessandro M. is definitely your go to guy. He speaks English, Spanish and of course Italian. He was able to receive most of our documents via email and we just came in to sign all the paperwork to get our bank account started.

Staff are very nice here. Alessandro M. speaks perfect English, and he is quite patient with all our questions and concerns. Eventually I get my bank account opened smoothly. The best experience in all the banks I have had in Italy. Strongly recommend!

The old-school consultants were fine, but the new generation is completely lacking in seriousness and responsibility. Most of the time, they don't even respond (Vittorio Sangalli, for example), or they say they'll call back and then don't. When I was with the previous consultant, who later retired, everything was fine, but then they passed me on to a younger one who convinced me to move elsewhere. You can't ignore a client; that's an indifference no client deserves. They only respond if they smell money and a commission increase, otherwise they don't make any effort. It's a shame they lose clients this way.
