Worst service, the woman who organizes the questions appointments and services at the front desk is the worst. I came for help twice and in both times she doesn’t reply but with ways to make you leave and not help. She is with bad attitude and simply wants to get rid of you instead of helping.
I’ve had a very difficult and frustrating experience banking with them, due mainly to terrible customer service practices. I also found them to be expensive compared to other banks. The actual people are not horrible, it’s a policy issue. I’ve lived and worked in 4 countries and have dealt with multiple banks… I would say that the BBVA’s customer service is almost purposely opposite of what you would want it to be. I highly regret opening an account with them and although I have all the contact info necessary, I can not close my account from abroad. I literally have to fly back to Madrid to close an account since they don’t consider my phone verified. I could rant for far too long based on almost every single time I’ve had to do anything at the branch, but I’m going to stop myself here. They are just not on the level of a normal, professional bank.
THIS IS THE WORST BBVAS BRANCH OFFICE. The customer service is miserable, they treat you horribly and qualify your issues right in front of you, without any kind of respect. I’ve had a great experience with BBVA so far but sadly, I had the worst luck with having BBVAs Goya 31 as my branch office. I really cannot describe with words the inhuman treatment and the attitude of all the workers. They make you feel as if your problem is a favour they are doing for you. No education. Would never recommend this office. Save yourselves!
I have been a customer of the BBVA for more than 20 years. A few years ago I transferred all my accounts (personal and business) to the branch in Goya 31. What a mistake.... All my personal accounts were blocked by the BBVA for more then 4 months because my personal ID on record (a non Spanish Passport) had expired and they failed to tell me that they needed an update of the documentation.. All the utility bills for my Madrid apartment (electricity, telephone, community charge etc) where not paid because of this. I was told that this could be rectified by presenting my documentation personally in my "oficina" in Goya 31. I booked flights to Madid (in August 2021 during the Covid Lockdown) to find an apartment with no electricity, a mountain of none paid direct debit bills and a freezer with 1000 Euros of rotting meat... I had booked an appointment (before travelling) with a ´Gestor´ in the Goya office on 02/08/2021 at 09:00 hrs to present my papers. When I went there they unequivocal
Arrogant service, no customer centric approach at all. Please, remember that the one who brings money to the bank is the client.
