Mizuho Bank Matsumoto Branch 8 5 2-chōme

I don't know what happend with the other Foreigner customers who gave a bad review, but for me, this bank is the best one I had worked with till now!

They treat foreigners badly

I thought this was a top-class bank. Unfortunately, I didn't have any use of the service so I made an appointment to cancel my account, which took about 30 minutes, but the service was impeccable and courteous. If you park in the designated parking lot, you will receive a parking ticket.

The attitude of the staff was so bad that I felt uncomfortable.

This branch is one of very few in Nagano Prefecture. It's one of two branches, the Nagano Branch and the Matsumoto Branch. I've hardly used Mizuho Bank in recent years, so I decided to take the plunge and cancel my account. It's part of my decluttering efforts. And cancellations can only be made at staffed branches. It's about a 10-minute walk from Matsumoto Station. I arrived right when they opened at 9am, and it wasn't crowded. As usual, there were a lot of guides outside the counter. The cancellation procedure itself took about 20 minutes. The staff at the counter were very polite, and I wanted to make an excuse to come back and see them, but I probably won't.
