I hope that all online reviews do not carry the same weight when potential customers are looking for a new bank contact. Ekenäs Sparbank is Finland's oldest independent bank. I have been a customer there for 60 years. Thanks to its small scale and its considerate customer policy even in difficult situations, Ekenäs Sparbank - specifically located in Ekenäs - functions as a family institution with opening hours, when you are met by a person who listens. You can be old and grumpy and still be helped, unlike the principles of all other banks in Finland. You can be an immigrant, young, without special language skills and still be helped, which is what my family and I have experienced. You can travel abroad or move far away and get into trouble and be helped by phone, which I have experienced many times. What other bank in Finland can offer such a thing??
