Following the closure of the Resona Bank Toyosu branch, the branch code was moved to Nihonbashi. There are no Resona Bank branches in Toyosu, Koto Ward. Even though Resona Bank's Tokyo headquarters building is located prominently near Kiba Station, there is only one staffed branch in Koto Ward. The rest are ATMs with unmanned consultation corners called !n, or simple ATM corners called branch offices. It's true that we're in a cashless era, but they were too ahead of the curve and ended up failing. If you're going to open an account, the only choice is a megabank. As others have mentioned, even if you search for the location in the picture, you won't be able to find it. The counter was on the 19th floor of Coredo Nihonbashi. I took the direct elevator from the 1st floor to the 6th floor, where I explained I wanted to go to Resona Bank (19th floor), wrote my name and phone number, and was given something like an entrance ticket. From there I was able to take the elevator. There doesn't seem to be any sign indicating that Resona Bank is there from the exterior, but it was written next to the direct elevator. Note that the elevator from B2F to 5F is different from the elevator connecting 1F to 6F. The ATMs themselves are apparently on B1F and 2F.

I went to open a new account. Perhaps because I already have an account with UFJ Bank, I was treated with suspicion from the start. The person I spoke to changed about three times, but the first woman seemed the most suspicious. Even though I hadn't mentioned my salary, the second and third people insisted that what I was told was inconsistent with what the first person had said. When asked, "Do you have accounts with other banks?", I answered, "I have a UFJ account," but I never said anything about my salary being deposited there. When I told the second and third people, "My salary is paid in cash, so I don't use it," they became very suspicious, saying what I had told the first person was different. They remained suspicious until the very end, and honestly, it made me angry. I understand that it's their job and they have rules, but I wasn't trying to do anything wrong, so their attitude was frustrating. I don't usually get angry at people, but I'm embarrassed to admit that I was tr

Opened in Toyosu on November 15, 2015, this is Japan's newest branch. It also served as a testbed for future developments, such as the ability to open an account without a seal. A unique feature was the sota robot, which acts as a receptionist outside of opening hours. It will relocate on April 11, 2022, and be consolidated into the Nihonbashi branch. The Seven Days Plaza consultation desk and ATM remain at the original location, but due to Seven Days' downsizing, it will become just an ATM corner at the end of March 2025. As the branch has relocated, there are old photos, and this is the correct location on the current map.

It's hard to find! The ATM is on the right hand side immediately after taking the escalator to the second floor. It's behind a pillar so it's easy to miss.
