I didn't have my cash card, so when I requested cancellation, I was told I would need to have a new cash card reissued and pay 1,100 yen to complete the process. What's the point of reissuing a cash card if you're just canceling? You can't do anything with just your bankbook and My Number card. Isn't that strange?
