ordered securities that were in custody at the Bank of Åland because it involved matters involving a private individual and an estate, and without the private individual's consent, the securities were sent to a shareholder in the estate who is not allowed to receive copies of the securities without our consent. This could be a big reason to change banks.
I was a customer of the bank and after a few years I changed banks for some reason. Now I regret it and I often think about going back. The service and the bank employees were really good. It was nice to stop by when I needed something. 🥇🙂
One star is too many. Really arrogant service, and the Bank of Åland apparently doesn't want new customers unless they can sell you a loan or mutual fund services. I definitely don't recommend it under any circumstances. Absolutely shockingly bad service!
I had a meeting with a bank representative about the loan and investments. We agreed that he would call me again at 9:00 AM, but he made notes without informing me. I had arranged my own meetings and schedules around this. It is strange that the representative does not respect schedules, let alone inform me in advance if the meeting had to be canceled. I sent him two emails, and I have not heard any response or apologies. He also promised to send me a loan/investment offer after the first meeting, but I have not heard anything about that either. The saddest thing about this is that the bank advertises itself as a premium bank, where the customer receives good service, takes care, "we are only one email away" and responds quickly. I think this has now been implemented very poorly. I hope you do not treat other customers the same way.
I would appreciate it if the cashier's opening hours were visible online and easily found where the opening hours are anyway. Despite several searches, I couldn't find them on the website and made an unnecessary trip further to Taperee. I rarely use the cashier service, but it would be even nicer to know when it's worth making that trip.
