I'm very satisfied with the bank itself and the account and would give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, the branch is disappointing. I deliberately chose a branch bank so I could handle more complex banking transactions in person, rather than via hotlines or online. Unfortunately, the employee at this branch couldn't open an account or order a credit card with a credit limit; he simply referred me to the smart banking hotline for every request. I find this very disappointing and it's exactly what I didn't expect from a branch bank. I hope it's better at other branches, because branches aren't really necessary just for withdrawing money at the counter instead of using the ATM next door.

We've been customers of this bank for many years. It's a miracle they've left at least one teller window and two ATMs in Erfurt. It's unacceptable to have to stand in such a long line every time. The contact options in case of a problem are catastrophic! My account was locked due to a wrong keystroke. My attempts to reach an employee failed. The phone number listed online is no longer valid. The number connects to Munich. A computer is turned on there, but it is unresponsive and keeps asking for help. A successful connection is not possible, and therefore my account cannot be unlocked.
