My account has now been terminated without explanation. Customer service is very difficult to reach by phone and chat. So, my issue is now resolved anyway!

The bank is the worst. I have a Postbank account and can use the ATM there for free. Yesterday, it gave me two €100 bills. When I asked at the counter if they could exchange the bills, I was quickly asked: "It depends. Are you a customer of our bank?" I'm a Postbank customer. We only exchange our customers. Customers certainly feel comfortable here."

When I opened the account last October, Ms. Göbel was my contact person, and I was very impressed. She was competent and very friendly. Unfortunately, the bank isn't very easy to reach by phone, and there aren't any direct extension numbers. But this is a problem that exists at most banks these days...regrettably. Otherwise, I can wholeheartedly recommend this bank.

Unfortunately, information is never saved. Due to a death in the family, we had to spend a lot of time at this branch. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Despite canceling a service (probably with a trainee or intern), they continued to debit our accounts for months. We constantly had to follow up and explain our situation from the beginning. While no one was ever overtly rude, the service certainly wasn't friendly.

I should mention that I don't speak German very well, as I recently moved to Germany. I was having problems with my online shopping card. I was greeted by Ms. Huth, who had a colleague who spoke good English. They were friendly and helped me resolve all the issues. Thank you for your patience and excellent work; it's a pleasure to rely on such competent people.
