I had the pleasure of dealing with Marinia Gendy, who was extremely professional and helpful. I had a great experience to be honest, I wouldn’t have opened a bank account there without her assistance. She clearly explained everything and made the entire process smooth and easy to understand.

Unfortunately, my experience represents a complete failure to meet the basic standards of professionalism and care expected from a financial institution. Unacceptable Wait Times and Lack of Responsiveness: I attempted to reach a customer service representative via phone on the CIB Bank hotline. In both instances, I endured unacceptable wait times, ultimately failing to connect with an agent. This lack of responsiveness is both disrespectful and hinders your ability to effectively address customer concerns. Incompetent and Unempathetic Customer Service: When I finally did connect with agents on, their interactions were marked by a shocking lack of competence and empathy. Their inability to handle basic queries and address my concerns efficiently demonstrated a clear lack of proper training and understanding of customer needs. I dealt with this branch since opening and it used to be among the best bank branches with a competent staff, however each year when I’m visiting the branch during my annual vacation to Cairo, I notice a deterioration of the level of service, very long waiting time, less competent staff and long waiting time, even if you want to open your save

This is by far the worst bank in Egypt for foreigners. Me and my sister deposited our inheritance in that bank against certificates and got stuck outside of Egypt due to the Covid-19 travel restrictions and bank broke our CDs and stole a big portion of our money avoid this bank and stick to international banks much safer!
