AmBank Bangsar Baru No. 45 & 47 Jalan Telawi 3 Bangsar

Lazy staff. The officers is not knowledgable. Had me going to bangsar village just to print surat kuasa, even though the court only issued Softcopy. Avoid AmBank for all business, especially hire purchase. Public Bank for example is very good when parents passed away; officers will guide you and ease your business. Not the same for AmBank, they ask for surat kuasa, and need to print yourself some more. I go to bank to ask for settlement amount. Guess what one month later still no feedback from AmBank. Dissapointed.

On March 5, 2025, I went to Ambank Bangsar Telawe in the afternoon. I wanted to open an account for my salary purposes. I also brought my passport and a referral letter from my company. I was sent to counter 5 but unfortunately the person at counter 5 said that the manager was on leave that day. I said ok, I will come back. When I went back on March 10, 2025 in the morning, counter 5 told me that the system was not working. It was being fixed.. I went back on March 12, 2025 in the morning, same problem again, then they referred me to NU Sentral Ambank..When I went to NU Sentral Ambank, they said it was not possible because my company is under the Telawe branch. But I said they sent me here from Bangsar Telawe. The staff said they couldn't open an account at the NU Sentral branch.. Now I went to Bangsar again on June 4, 2025 in the afternoon, the Malay counter 5 said the manager was on leave until June 16, 2024..Counter 5 Bangsar Telawe branch has many reasons..Or they really don't w

I recently visited this branch to open a savings account (14/8/2024, at 2.30pm) , but the experience was extremely disappointing. The staff member I spoke to was vague and had an unhelpful attitude, repeatedly telling me that it would be difficult for me to open a savings account because I'm from a different state, even though I work in KL. It felt like she was discouraging me from opening an account altogether. Frustrated, I left and found out through Google that I could easily open an account via AmOnline, which was faster. If the staff was lazy to assist, they could have at least suggested this option instead of wasting my time. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

My issue has been assisted by Pn Belly and it got resolved within 2 working days. I appreciate that she called to give me the update eventhough I was advised that the investigation might take 3 months. Thank you.

Bank Hall is quite spacious. U have to take a token for all the services. Staffs are quite helpful.
