Racist and super bad customer service. Would never deal with HLB ever again. Visited Hong Leong Bank on 10/11/2025 around 2PM to update my ASNB phone number, since my number has 11 digits and I couldn’t update it online. I went there because you guys is the ASNB agent. When I arrived, I took a number and waited for my turn everything was fine until I was called. The staff took my IC and told me I didn’t have an account with the bank. I explained that I just wanted to update my ASNB phone number. Then, the staff started speaking in Chinese to her colleague, right in front of me. They were talking in chinese clearly discussing to lie about “system down”, then ask us to sit down “as like they were checking the system” then call us and mention system down? and want us to go other bank?? I find this very disrespectful and dishonest. This is Malaysia, and many Malays and Indians understand Chinese too so please don’t assume customers can’t understand you. Only served 2 customers in 1 hour for specific category. I am waiting since 11.19am. Now 12.13pm 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ then i have to wait for one more number, wondering how many hours will take..... Juat read the lowest reviews and the replies from the management. They replied with sorry and asked ro fill up details. To the management, don't reply me with the same "sorry and fill up details" instead improve the service and don't let us wait for hours.
