Shocking, Unbelievable Story of MCB. It would be hard to believe that in a commercial banks internal rivalries of employees are allowed to destroy banks business. I am a retired army officer, a dual citizen of USA and Pakistan. I have a current account in Model Town MCB. Now I wanted to open a savings account to deposit a large sum (karores) while I became a victim of internal rivalries. Someone in head office who does not like Model Town branch is doing everything possible to delay the approval for a savings account. I filled in the forms on 18th of Feb, today it is March 3, (15 days) and my account is not yet opened. I was forced to take my deposit to some other bank. I think the upper management in MCB needs to be replaced, how can they be oblivious to such losses due to internal rivalries? I must say MCB has an inapt management. Maj. Retd. Dabeer Mallik
