BMO Bank of Montreal 5506 Spring Garden Road South End

I have been a customer of BMO since the 1990s. Of all the branches I have dealt with across Canada in that time, this is my favorite. The staff are the most competent, and can solve problems that other branches have failed at. They are particularly strong at dealing with international issues because they have international staff and international clients. I will endeavor to do all my future banking with this branch.

Wish we had negative rating. Last time I visited there to get credit card application, lady there would not even agree to take my application, and I then I asked reason she couldn’t even justify. When I gave all my details which showed my eligibility she was still rejecting my application, it was only after my persistent request, she took my application. On the other hand my First interaction with other associate Cole was very good and he was very professional and good to talk with.

My brother in law was just in this branch trying to cash a US check that I had sent to him, from the US to help pay for his truck drivers course. The way the teller spoke to him and then refused to speak to me, who was on the phone trying to understand what the problem was, was inhumane. I told him to ask for the bank manager after the teller refused to help either of us and when she showed up, it was even worse. What mean, horrible people they have working there. Clearly they think they’re better than you and have no time to explain calmly and clearly or try and help with a solution. Yuck!!!

I came at this branch for the first time because i was expecting a money transfer to my business account but it wasn’t going through. As a small business owner, it affected me and i was trying to figure that out. Also i have ordered business cheques over 2 weeks ago and haven’t received them yet, came to ask for help, but i have to say i was very disappointed!! An BMO employee at the front desk with the name “Laide” not that didn’t try to help, but completely ignored me and her behaviour was very unprofessional! Whatever i asked her, she answered with NO and can’t doo nothing about it. Because i waited to long for the cheques and never came on time (which she her self said should be in your address in one week) i had to get “Bank draft” to pay an employee! When i said maybe this time you shouldn’t charge me fee because I waited too long for my cheques, she just replied in a very cold way “ No, there’s nothing I can do about it”. $10 charge mean nothing to me, but treating your

I went to this location having 11 thousand dollars of fraudulent charges on my credit card and debit card, Cole was able to get all these resolved with ease and I couldn't be more appreciative! Thanks buddy!
