BMO Bank of Montreal 340 Albert Street Downtown

Recently opened an account at this location and was provided quick and courteous service by my representative, Aniket. As an overseas Canadian with a foreign spouse opening a joint account, we had unique problems to resolve for opening a new account, but Aniket was there for us whenever we needed help over the next few days with activating the cards and online account. I see complaints about wait times, but understanding this location is in the center of downtown, of course there is minimal wait times if you seek out services while government and business workers are in their offices. At these times, we never had to wait for a teller or for the excellent service provided by Aniket.

Among many things in the past few visits to this location. Super slow, one person at the counter …waiting on the phone and should be taking another client until the person comes on the phone. Waited for someone to show up at the counter but it’s constantly wait and wait and wait …should never have to spend a whole lunch hour at the bank…I think it’s just time to switch

I opened a business account and credit card with them and found the service very unprofessional. 10 times easier with Desjardins. My representative Aniket was just trying to sell me things instead of answering questions…… worst bank I have ever had. I’ll be closing my account really soon. How to loose customers 101

Absolutely brutal. 40 minutes to wait in line while one (!!) teller is working, just to be told that they could not provide the service because the branch manager is on vacation.

This is (Was) my branch for years but not for much longer. This is how bad their communication skills are; In August my Mortgage was up for renewal. In June, I decided I was going to sell my town home and by a nice big single with a pool. I knew I was gong to need "someone" to loan me about 400 K or so. You would think my Bank would have been all over this opportunity?? Wrong, not only did I not get a call from anyone about a renewal coming up soon, neither did I get a call back PERIOD even when I was leaving them messages to call me back about my Mortgage. I got in touch with a broker and we did it up and thats where I am now. Tough to digest but thats probably at least 100 K that BMO Constitution Square totally dropped the ball on. The most recent jaffe is equally inexplicable. I had a line of credit with them that I signed up for through the Constitution Square branch. 35 K at a decent interest rate.
