I once paid for someone else's emi via paytm. Apparatus they missed their other payments and now their emi shows on my account. Due to them not paying the emi my cibil score has taken the hit. I have visited the bank and all they said is that they can't do anything about it. I have no idea where the person is now but in trying to help someone now my finances are ruined. I cant access my emi facilities. I tried raising a dispute with cibil but it didn't work. I guess this the classic case of dumping the consequences on whoever they can if they can't find the actual offender, as long as there is someone else there to throw the blame on just let them be. To anyone reading this if you have any suggestions please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated.
