By last week, I visited the Sohar branch and requested the outstanding statement for my car loan, which was required by the insurance company. The Customer Service In-charge, Mrs. Ibtisam Ali, completed everything within three working days with higher approval. It was a nice experience! Thanks to Bank Sohar.

great bank ..with extremely qualified officers and one officer Mr abdul majeed ali al sibly is really good ,he listens, understands tries to find solutions .we hand some issues some banking glitches and mr abdul majeed helped me in great extent .my son who is in world bank US he is an IT officer i used to tell him that great officers like mr abdul majeed are here in OMAN . thank you SIB

There is no proper queue system, the monitor that shows the token number is not working, the behavior of the staff is also very bad, we were made to wait for more than an hour and a half to collect an ATM card from the branch, very very bad experience in sohar branch

Bad experience, don't recommend as a corporate bank at all - tried to call several times to get someone to advise on bank guarantees / bonds and the wholesale/trading staff doesn't even know what I'm talking about! One of the customer service representatives even gave incorrect email address of customer service, not sure what's the point of having customer service agents that are not knowledgeable of the banks products and can't even give an email address correctly. Edit: The bank replied to contact their customer service by phone or email, just to be sure, I'm adding a print screen of how many times I tried calling them and / or their head office (no answer) since this morning.
