Going at a peak time might be one cause for delays and long waiting. But the slow motion of the staff is agonising. Simple card renewal shouldn’t take a long time. Waited for more then half an hour to move up the queue. When my turn came. Spent 2 or 3 minutes with the bank employee, paper signed, and been told to wait to print the new card. More than 15 minutes waiting to print my new card while the employee was seeing other customers. I’m all with multi tasking. But simple jobs should take precedence. Besides, there was no receptionist, which makes it a bit chaotic, people standing in long queue not knowing if someone will attend to their inquiries or just punch a number and sit. After card was printed. Told to go downstairs to get it activated and PIN number issued. Other banks never require you to get a new pin since it’s renewal of expired card not lost card. And activation in other banks is simple, just by using the card at the atm machine at the branch and it’s done. That’s why i
