I had an unexpectedly great experience at this bank counter, which honestly doesn’t happen very often 😅. The staff who assisted me (I think her name was Shakila, please forgive me if I got it slightly wrong 🙏) was exceptionally helpful, efficient, and genuinely pleasant to deal with. She explained everything so clearly that even my follow-up questions started to feel unnecessary 👍. Despite the counter being busy, she remained calm, professional, and friendly — not a hint of stress, just pure competence ✨. Service like this almost makes waiting in a bank feel… enjoyable (yes, really 😂). She is truly an asset to the bank, and I hope her great work gets the recognition it deserves 👏.

Visited Hong Leong Bank on 10/11/2025 around 2PM to update my ASNB phone number, since my number has 11 digits and I couldn’t update it online. I went there because you guys is the ASNB agent.
When I arrived, I took a number and waited for my turn everything was fine until I was called. The staff took my IC and told me I didn’t have an account with the bank. I explained that I just wanted to update my ASNB phone number. Then, the staff started speaking in Chinese to her colleague, right in front of me. They were talking in chinese clearly discussing to lie about “system down”, then ask us to sit down “as like they were checking the system” then call us and mention system down? and want us to go other bank?? I find this very disrespectful and dishonest.

Juat read the lowest reviews and the replies from the management. They replied with sorry and asked ro fill up details.

not a pleasant experience. Bare minimum service staff, exceedingly long wait times, nonchalant attitude. Honestly, take your business elsewhere.
Bad service, I come to withdraw asb, on the spot the staff want to reject me saying cannot withdraw asb with supporting documents for IC thumbprint issue. Secondly, without asking whether I have Hong Leong Bank account, the staff straightly said that I don’t have Hong Leong account, what is this attitude? Just wasting my time here, no proper training for customer given to the staff?
After so many years, this branch front desk services and their staff attitude getting worst. Their front desk staff will point you to this and that counter, after you walk to the counter thay asked, the counter will ask back you is this their duty to handle ??? What!!! Surprised. The front counter handle things very slow, lots of customers were waiting, and their front desk can take their sweet time chit chat.
Hope the top management see these issues, and take actions to improve.
