I visited the BIDV Tay Sai Gon branch in Lu Gia to do a transaction, the first impression was that the space was clean, bright and quite spacious. The waiting room was cool, the seats were comfortable, there was air conditioning and a neat reception desk. The security guard was very enthusiastic, guiding customers to park and showing them where to do the procedures. Inside, the transaction staff were polite, professional, handled the transaction quickly and gave clear instructions step by step.
This branch is a bit crowded in the morning, especially at the beginning of the week, so if you come to work, you should go a little early to avoid waiting too long. Although crowded, the service process was still orderly and neat. I think the plus point is the separate consulting counter, creating a sense of privacy for customers when exchanging financial information.
The space is beautifully decorated, the typical blue tone of BIDV looks quite modern and creates a sense of trust. The hygie

The intact French architecture on Ham Nghi Street
The building dates back to the early 20th century, built by the French with a distinctive architecture, named “Phap - Hoa Ngan - Hang”. After more than 100 years, it has remained unchanged, and is one of the rare high-rise buildings that remains intact in Saigon.
I took number 1044, the current number is 1037, meaning I'm 7 customers in line. But I waited until 1040, which was almost 45 minutes. They probably dragged it out until lunchtime and then closed for the day. Before, I always thought that working at a bank required at least a college degree, but I was wrong; even those with no education can work there.
Terrible service... so many counters but only 2 working ones... I waited over 30 minutes for my turn, I was thinking of getting another card but decided against it... I'll just get a Techcombank card instead, it's faster.
The service is slow, the wait is too long. I waited 40 minutes to open a business account for one person and they still haven't finished. I'm waiting for another person and I'm probably going to run out of time. I guess I'll just go home.
There are very few counters with staff working there; even just paying traffic fines requires a very long wait.
This is the worst bank I ever met in world, as an expat I worked in many countries from Africa to south Asia. This bank will never tell you what document you need in order to receive money, it took 10 days to transfer money from local HSBC to my bank account. They told me within 7 days I can receive my ATM card, after I received sms that I can collect my ATM after 5 days, when I visited the bank they told me bank run out of ATM card, I need to wait another 9 days.
